“I’m a Southern California native, and like its diverse roots, I have been influenced by the art of cultures all over the world. I also love variety in visual language, be it painting, sculpture or dance. Color, celebration, and opening the spirit are my dedication.”  Beth Amine

Statement

I am watching the expansion of the therapeutic possibilities that have come out of my shrine making and kit.  I have now taught hundreds of elementary school children (including autistic ones) with great success.  Every child has made a remarkable piece of art that is all creative self direction and discovery  with no competition or blockage. I have also taught (I use that loosely, basically I just provide the format and supplies) groups of women from Narcotics Anonymous, individuals who processed grief and loss, and the general public who have all had profoundly healing and joyous experiences with embodying creative process.   And, all with a great bonding group interaction!     Beth
